It's not a polished venue, it's authentic Devon farmstead charm with open grounds, a pool, lawns, and countryside views. Couples take full control (within basic rules) to decide timings, layout, formality, and flow. Nothing's imposed unless you want it, which makes it feel like a shared weekend rather than a managed single-day event.

What the day feels like You arrive Friday (or earlier) and stay through Sunday, exclusive use of the farmhouse for getting ready/breakfast/setup, Chapel Barn for indoor ceremonies (or outdoors under the cedar tree), lawns/pool for drinks and games, Party Barn for reception (seats 140 banquet-style, rustic and characterful), adjoining bar/lounge that turns into evening party space. And with the accommodation options, it keeps everyone close, no hotel shuttles needed.

The layout encourages free movement, prep in the farmhouse, ceremony in barn or garden, drinks around pool/lawns with games, food in Party Barn (caterers of your choice), then bar/lounge shifts to dancing/karaoke/yoga/pool parties/whatever energy the group brings. It's communal and chilled, guests spread out, no bottlenecks, plenty of space for kids, games, or quiet corners. Weather plays a big role, sunny days mean poolside hangs and lawn games, rain keeps things cozy in barns without feeling confined.
